Any toppings must certainly be saved separately, as adding them for the rice and bean combination is likely to make them soggy.I love to freeze rice in 2-cup parts then pull it out for recipes such as this. I just add a little bit of h2o to it After i warmth it up which keeps it from drying out.  Even so, it will make an outstanding mid-week food
